Equipment Specialist: Monday, March 12

Want to know how your scuba gear works in detail? How about the best tips for caring for and maintaining your life support equipment? These are just a couple of the goals of the Equipment Specialist course. This is one of the few specialty classes that doesn’t involve time spent in the water; it is conducted in its entirety in the classroom. Master Technician Ed Gabe will show you the inner workings of all types of regulators, discuss the function and mechanics of major components of a scuba kit, and teach you the things you can repair in the field.
