Located in Lexington, Kentucky, New Horizons is the area’s best full-service diving store. We are a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center, which means we have the professional staff to teach all possible courses from beginner diving all the way through Scuba Instructor. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality experience; we are not a “scuba supermarket” of discount products and devalued training. Our friendly, professional people will sincerely assist you with everything from lessons to equipment selection. We carry a wide selection of high quality equipment lines including Scubapro, Halcyon, Aqualung, Oceanic, DUI, Pelican, Princeton Tec, Sea and Sea, and more. Our instructors have a diverse variety of diving experiences, training, and interests, and they have been diving for many years.

Aside from education and sales, the fun part of our job is taking you to some of the most exotic dive locations on the planet. We go to Florida, islands in the Caribbean, and all the way around the planet on spectacular scuba trips. New Horizons also offers full travel agency services, so if you are looking for a personalized dive trip, just ask. We can combine good travel agent advice with real knowledge about the best scuba destinations.

Scuba diving is a great activity for those who love water, the natural world, and travel. There is a myriad of activities to experience, from fish watching to photography, from night diving to search and recovery, from shallow relaxing reefs to deep decompression exploration, New Horizons can help you along the way.

And if you are involved in public safety, you may be interested to know that we serve several of the central Kentucky rescue teams and services with both equipment and training. New Horizons provides public safety equipment through OTS, Interspiro, Halcyon, Diving Unlimited International, J.W. Fishers, and more.
