Advanced Open Water Trip to Florida: Mar. 18 – 21

Ready for the next step in your scuba training? Join us for an Advanced Open Water course in Florida. Through five dives, you will cover a wide variety of topics, including better buoyancy control, deep diving to 100 feet, and advanced navigation. Successfully completing the Advanced Open Water Course will tune many of your skills and give you the knowledge to safely extend your diving range. Many dive centers now require an Advanced certification in order for you to participate in their more challenging (and desirable) dives on wrecks and deeper reefs.

Thursday: Drive to Gainesville, Florida
Friday: Dive Day at Devil’s Den or Ginnie Springs.
Saturday: Dive Day at Blue Grotto
Sunday: Drive home to Kentucky

Trip Leader & Instructor: Matt Skaggs
Costs: $475 includes textbook, lodging (double occupancy room), admission to dive sites, scuba equipment rental, and air tank fills. Students are responsible for their own transportation and meals.

Enriched Air/Nitrox option: if you would also like to earn your enriched air/nitrox certification during the Advanced class, we offer a special discount rate of $100 (normally $125). You will get the Enriched Air textbook, watch a DVD and complete the Knowledge Reviews before the class, and then do two dives using enriched air during the Advanced Open Water course.
