Mermet Springs www.MermetSprings.com
Located just outside of Metropolis, Illinois, this giant freshwater dive site offers some of the greatest underwater attractions in the Midwest, including a Boeing 727 jet airplane!!! Depths range from shallow for beginners, to almost 130 feet for certified advanced deep divers. Several different courses are laid out underwater, making navigation from point to point easy. There are also plenty of training platforms, giant catfish, and even the beautiful and elusive paddlefish, recently filmed at Mermet by National Geographic. On shore, Mermet offers plenty of excellent areas to set up for a dive, including covered shelters. The facility offers full service air and nitrox tank fills, a rental department, and snacks. Camping overnight is available, and there are several inexpensive hotels nearby. Check out Mermet Springs; it is well worth the trip!

Pennyroyal Scuba www.PennyroyalScuba.com
Located in Hopkinsville, Pennyroyal Scuba is a full service dive site that offers something for everyone! They have depths down to 120 feet and lots of attractions to see under water. Visibility is excellent – usually the best in the State. They have air and nitrox fills on site, camping, a snack stand, and a friendly staff that is eager to make your diving experience fantastic. You can’t beat it for having everything you want in one spot!

Falling Rock Park www.FallingRockPark.com
aka “Joe’s Quarry,” Falling Rock Park is a great dive site right here in Kentucky. Located just outside Louisville.

Falling Springs www.FallingSprings.net
Falling Springs is a great community health, fitness, and activity center in Versailles, Kentucky. Falling Springs has a full size swimming pool and partners with New Horizons to offer scuba lessons and other scuba events for people in the Versailles / Woodford County area.
